Now completing more than 30 years in Southern California real estate, Ron de Salvo began his career in a rather inauspicious way. Having no promise of a buyer or seller in sight after languishing for more than three months, he convinced his mother to list her house with him (although she really did not want to move!), sold it quickly and thus began a celebrated career. Within the next two years he strategically broadened his territorial base from the Hollywood Hills to Beverly Hills, and added the prestigious communities of Bel-Air, Holmby Hills, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and Malibu to his growing inventory of exclusive luxury listings, setting new sales records in almost every coveted community. In 1979, he successfully sold the most expensive residential property in U.S. history for what at that time was a staggering $5,300,000 representing both the buyer and seller in the Bel-Air transaction. Since then he has sold and continues to represent and sell some of the most coveted properties in Southern California including "The Knoll" for businessman Marvin Davis and the legendary Pickfair Estate in Beverly Hills. And for the past twenty-nine years has continued to broaden and dominate his marketplace. Receiving a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Florence, Italy, Ron has been able to blend his business, aesthetic and creative sensibilities and garner an exceptional reputation of excellence and impeccable service for his clients. Not only has he sold billions of dollars worth of real estate in his own marketplace, but his international client base affords him the opportunity to represent properties worldwide. He is a member of the international networking organization FIABCI, Whos Who in Luxury Real Estate, a Director of the Los Angeles Conservancy, on the Board of Advisors of Project Angel Food, has been named Realtor of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal and has ranked #1 in sales volume and number of units sold over $1,000,000 for Coldwell Banker Previews International. However, notwithstanding his professional achievements, Ron is most proud of having raised more than $2.5 million for various children's and AIDS related charities.
